A Metroidvania with an Adventure twist.
Slime-san might look like another generic pixel-art platformer, but take a closer look to it and you will be surprised by it.
The Super Mario 3D series has taken some interesting routes in the last few entries, taking away a lot of the deep moveset that Mario had previously for more simple and friendly gameplay, more similar to the 2D games.
The last couple of years haven't been great for The Legend of Zelda, even if Twilight Princess was a solid if uninventive game. And while Skyward Sword did take some risks, the majority of them didn't pay off, so Zelda needed a change.
